I want to be an astronaut

Space travel is getting closer and closer. I helped launch Virgin Galactic when I was at Start Creative yonks ago, now they’re another milestone nearer to making it happen. Amazing.

Louise Bourgeois, Hauser & Wirth

What a wonderful Saturday! After heading to Clarence House for a quick Christmas shop (no, this isn’t a normal Saturday), we popped into Hauser & Wirth’s new galleries on Saville Row. Wow, wow & wow. The two individual spaces side by side on Saville Row are simply stunning. Yes, they’re the traditional white cube but by ‘eck these are spaces that are made for exciting, spectacular & groundbreaking work. You can just feel it.

To top it off we saw the most inspiring, sensational, mind-blowingly talented female artist of our time – well her work at least. The amazing Louise Bourgeois. Her work is gentle and tender, harsh and violent, soft and hard, clear and ambiguous, sexually charged and vulnerable, radical and bloody brilliant.

You have to, have to, have to see this show. What a woman! Amazing to think she hand welded some of this spider in her 90s. Wow…again.
