Arts & Business

Engaging businesses interested in culture

Reporting into the Commercial Director my remit on this side of the business was to broaden awareness of Arts & Business amongst FTSE 250 brands and leading creative agencies. Here’s the first of the campaigns I ran.

The Art of Digital Collaboration

It was my recommendation for Arts & Business to host a free evening inspiration event bringing together digital agencies, arts organisations and brand sponsors.

I secured Jane Burton (Head of Content and Creative Director at Tate Modern) and Carl Christopher-Ansari (Sponsorship Manager at Playstation) to speak.

Using my brand, media and digital network I helped to create an exciting gathering of thinkers and doers, including Dazed and Confused’s founder and editor Jefferson Hack.

Recognising the power of a publication such as Creative Review, in terms of audience and credibility, I began building a relationship with the team there who promoted our event to their 200k Twitter followers.

Working with UVA, we created a stand out invitation that assisted in making the event feel special and premium. Our follow up emails cemented Arts & Business as a commentator and champion of digital collaborations.

This event also provided a platform for us to launch a proprietary research piece expanding on the topic of Digital Collaboration and demonstrating A & B’s thought leadership.
